I was delighted to join Mike Shook, Robyn Trippany Simmons, and Meagan Thompson to talk about how our professional identities have evolved during the course of our studies and career. We discussed why professional identity is important, how it can be difficult to tease out how counseling is different from other helping professions, and what has been helpful as us grow in our identities as a counselors.
